DANFOSS AKV (pulsing valve) is an electrically operated expansion valve with solenoid function for refrigeration systems. AKV valves are normally controlled by a regulator from the Danfoss DAP-COOL® series.

Separate coil with terminal box or cable
Replace parts - top, nozzle and filter (only required for modifications or repairs)
The power of an individual type is indicated by a number in the type designation. This number corresponds to the nozzle size of the valve. For example, a valve with a nozzle size of 3 has the type designation of AKV 10-3. The nozzle insert is replaceable. AKV 10 valves cover a power range of 0.9 kW to 13.5 kW (R134a) and are available in 7 performance categories. AKV 15 valves cover a power range of 21 kW to 84 kW (R134a) and are available in 4 performance categories. AKV 15 valves are suitable for cold storage areas. AKV 20 valves cover a power range of 84 kW to 533 kW (R134a) and are available in 5 performance categories. AKV 20 valves are suitable for water cooling systems.
