Cooling controller AK-CC 550 with screw terminals. AK-CC 550A is a flexible cooling and superheating regulator. It optimises energy use at the cooling location. Pre-configured application-specific settings mean it can be quickly modified for use with different types of cooling equipment. Depending on the application, more than one evaporator can be controlled. The AK-CC 550A is also optimised for CO2 systems.
Principle:
The temperature in the refrigeration unit is recorded by one or two temperature sensors placed in the airstream before the evaporator S3 or after the evaporator S4. Thermostat, alarm thermostat and sensor readouts on the display determine the extent to which the two sensor values should influence each function. Furthermore, a product sensor S6 can be used at any location within the refrigeration unit and the temperature around the goods can be measured directly. The evaporator temperature is recorded by sensor S5 and can be used to stop the defrosting period. Alongside an output for the type AKV electronic injection valve, the controller has 5 relay outputs that can be defined by the selected application.
