What are interfaces?
An interface is a program that can be used to exchange data between different systems. In other words, interfaces form the transition from one system to another. This transition can be used for communication or data exchange. The specification of an interface defines common properties. This also includes a protocol for communication and data exchange.
What advantages do interfaces offer?
By connecting my SCHIESSL to your inventory management system or tradesman software via these established interfaces, you can immediately reduce the manual effort required for the ordering process and all subsequent processes, as no double entry in the inventory management system is necessary.
With an IDS or OCI interface, you can access the entire my SCHIESSL range from your own merchandise management system. This means that you can continue to use your own system as usual – with all authorizations and settings – and access the latest product data and search options directly and in real time. This way, you save yourself the time-consuming task of maintaining article data and importing catalog data into your system.

IDS-Connect enables our customers to access my Schiessl directly from their software. This means that, for example, items can be added directly to the my SCHIESSL shopping cart without having to be added to my SCHIESSL again. Details or information about an item can also be easily called up in the customer software. At the same time, the interface also updates the customer's purchase prices if necessary. Using the Open Masterdata interface, you can access up-to-date article master data on demand and incorporate it into your processes. Only the article master data that you really need for your work is retrieved. This will replace the outdated and time-consuming maintenance of article master data using the Datanorm interface (you receive product data as a complete range at specific intervals).
