Wenn diese Vakuumpumpen für Servicearbeiten in einem System mit einem Kältemittel der Klasse A2L (schwer entflammbar) eingesetzt werden soll, so ist zu beachten, dass die Pumpe keine explosionsgeschütze ATEX Ausführung hat. Wenn an einem solchen System gearbeitet wird, so muss die Pumpe außerhalb der temporären Gefahrenzone platziert werden (3 Meter Umkreis um den Service-Anschluss der Anlage). Die Anschlussschläuche der Monteurhilfe sollten mindesten 3m Länge haben. Die temporäre Gefahrenzone muss in Bezug auf ausgetretenes Kältemittel bzw. eine ansteigende gefährliche Konzentration überwacht werden und sollte mit einer aktiven Belüftung (ATEX-Ventilator) geschützt werden um die Bildung eines explosionsfähigen Gemisches zu verhindern.

* If these vacuum pumps are to be used for service work in a system with a class A2L (hardly flammable) refrigerant, it must be noted that the pump does not have an explosion-proof ATEX version. If work is being carried out on such a system, the pump must be placed outside the temporary danger zone (3 metre radius around the service connection of the system). The connection hoses of the installation aid should be at least 3m long. The temporary danger zone must be monitored for leaked refrigerant or an increasing hazardous concentration and should be protected by active ventilation (ATEX fan) to prevent a potentially explosive mixture from forming.
