TheCARESAVER Universal is a compact refrigerant suction station. Due to its design, probably the only mobile suction station that is also suitable for propane
Easy to use and for dry environments.
The unit extracts liquid refrigerant and also gaseous refrigerant directly from the system into a suitable container.
FRONT VIEW:
- HIGH PRESSURE INDICATOR - indicates the refrigerant on the pressure side is above 360 psi (25 bar) and is preventing the compressor from starting. The display goes out again as soon as the pressure drops below 290psi (20 bar).
- LOW PRESSURE INDICATOR - indicates that the suction pressure is less than 9” (-0.3 bar) and the compressor is prevented from starting. The display goes out again when the pressure rises above 17.4 psi.
- SUCTION PRESSURE GAUGE - displays the system suction pressure. This is the pressure in the system or the station is under maintenance. The pressure gauge is a Bourdon tube pressure measuring device of protection class CL1.6 for bar indication –1 to 30 bar or 30” to 430 psi with division into 10 psi intervals.
- PRESSURE GAUGE - displays the pressure of the high pressure side. This is the same pressure as in the suction cylinder. The pressure gauge is a Bourdon tube pressure measuring device of protection class CL1.6 for bar indication –1 to 30 bar or 30” to 430 psi with division into 10 psi intervals.
- LOW PRESSURE OVERRIDE SWITCH - in the 'OFF' position the unit works automatically and will stop the suction process if the pressure drops below 9” (–0.3 bar). The ND 'OVERRIDE' position allows the unit to continue working for 2 minutes, for example when using piercing pliers.
- COOL GAS / HOT GAS (SELF CLEANING) SWITCH - in the normal “cool gas” position, the suction from the compressor is directed through the air-cooled condenser. The “hot gas” and “self-cleaning” position is used either to feed high-pressure gas into the system for push-pull extraction or to remove the remaining refrigerant from the system via a refrigerant hos.
- INLET PRESSURE CONNECTION - 1/4 ”SAE male thread with cap for standard refrigerant hoses.
- OUTLET CONNECTION - 1/4 ”SAE male thread with cap for standard refrigerant hoses.
- OIL DRAIN CONNECTOR - Underneath the unit near the front is a 1/4 ”SAE male thread.
- CARRYING HANDLE - Positioned in the middle of the unit, precisely balanced.
- CABLE WINCH - Positioned on the handle to wind up the power supply cable.
- VENTILATION SLOTS - On the side of the unit front to ventilate the system.
REAR VIEW:
- CONDENSER FAN - Warm air extraction from the back of the unit.
- VENTILATION BLOWER - Provides additional ventilation to protect the environment from flammable gases or accidental gas leaks.
- POWER SUPPLY CABLE - 5 m 14 AWG (2.5 mm2) heavy-duty with Schuko plug for 230 V in solid rubber, suitable for outdoor use.
- RUBBER FEET - Eliminates vibrations during operation.
- NAMEPLATE information such as the serial number, refrigerant, intended pressures and electrical details.
- ELECTRICAL TEST LABEL- Date for the electrical safety test for portable devices and the next date for this test.
- POWER SUPPLY LABEL - Identifies the intended power supply for the unit.
