Description

The controller makes it possible to control directly actuated axial fans with AC or DC motors (50 or 60 Hz) using an algorithm that changes the speed, if necessary, based upon the entered target value and pressure and temperature data. Thanks to the latest technology and optimised software, the pressure can be controlled by entering temperature values. The display functions as a manometer at the same time. The controller consists of two parts:

  1. Electronics with EPROM and power board for installation in a control cabinet or separate housing

  2. Operator panel with communication display for installation in the control cab door
    ATTENTION:
    The operator panel is NOT included and must be ordered as a separate accessory (EDV number 297.4504).
    Operation is possible without the operator panel!

Operation and programming of the control is performed exclusively via the available operator interface. The display shows a text explanation for each of the inputs and a standard display indicates more precise information about the current operational status of the controller. It is possible to use the controller WITHOUT the operator panel. Advantages of the operator panel include:

  • Plain text display of all programming processes
  • Directly show the pressure ratios in the refrigeration circuit in °C
  • Display the set target value (SET)
  • Display the current power supplied to the fan in %
