This cooling controller is intended for regulating the temperature of refrigeration units in supermarkets.
Many predefined applications mean there are many options for using this regulator. Excellent flexibility in both the installation and servicing of refrigeration systems.
The regulator contains a temperature control function that can be fed with temperature values from one or two temperature sensors. The thermostat sensors are attached in the cold air stream after the evaporator (S4), in the return stream immediately before the evaporator (S3) or in both locations. The settings determine what effect these signals should have over the regulation of the system.
The defrosting temperature can be read directly from the regulator (signal from defrost sensor (S5) or indirectly via the air outlet temperature (S4)).
Four relays switch between functions — depending on the selected applications. The following options are available:
- Cooling (compressor or solenoid valve)
- Fan
- Defrost
- Frame heating
- Alarm
- Light
