Antifrogen® products are versatile heat and coolant medium fluids with a glycol base (Antifrogen N, Antifrogen L and Antifrogen SOL HT) or potassium (Antifrogen KF). All types comply with the ÖNORM H5195 regulations, provide reliable protection against frost and lasting protection from corrosion for your cooling and heating systems. Frost protection is dependent on its dilution ratio with water. The water used for dilution should not contain more than 100 mg/kg (ppm) of chloride. Water hardness can be anything between 0 and 25° dH. This means that desalinated (deionised, distilled) water as well as normal drinking water can be used. Antifrogen contains CMR-free corrosion inhibitors that provide lasting protection from corrosion for metals in cooling and heating systems and prevent limescale deposits. Galvanised pipes should be avoided where possible as all glycol-water mixtures can dissolve zinc.
