The design of the ZF and ZF KVE series has been optimised for applications with low temperature goods. The scroll compliance mechanism of these compressors means that they offer a high tolerance for fluid hammering. They stand out for their low weight and compact size, which makes them ideal for use in condenser units, small refrigeration systems or special processing units. The ZF models are operated with liquid injection in order to regulate the pressurised gas temperature and enable a wide range of uses. The ZF KVE models are optimised for vapour injection using a super-cooler. This increases the cooling power of the system by 40% and efficiency by 25%, making this series the number one product on the market for low temperature applications in terms of efficiency. Regardless of whether liquid or vapour is used, injection is done during the compression process in order to maintain a high volumetric efficiency. Other key features include low condensation temperatures, a wide range of possible uses and fast temperature reduction for excellent adaptability. All models can be fitted with an external housing for sound insulation that reduces the noise level by a further 10 dBA.
