The design works independently of counterpressure so that the refrigerant is returned to the low pressure side of the refrigeration system or is collected in a special container. This prevents refrigerant from being blown out into the atmosphere.
- Trigger pressures from 10 bar to 45 bar.
- The desired trigger pressure is set and documented in an approval document by DEKRA.
- The seal of the valve seat is ensured using refrigerant-resistant, permanently elastic seal that is resistant to deformation.
Suitable for all refrigerants (except NH3 and refrigerants containing NH3)
Standards
The HANSA Automotive HSV/HS-KSV is tested according to AD data sheet A2 in accordance with TÜV requirements and is also compliant with European directive 2014/68/EU.
Application areas for the safety valve type ÜSV/HD-ÜSV
Accident prevent regulations of the Workplace Health and Safety Association (DGUV) require that refrigeration systems filled with more than 10 kg of group 1 refrigerant must be fitted with safety equipment to prevent unacceptable pressure increases. This also applies to fluid collectors that can be shut-off on all sides under normal operating conditions.
The ÜSV/HD-ÜSV safety valves from HANSA Automotive meet the requirements for approval according to European directive 2014/68/EU.
