KVS is a series of electrically operated modulating regulation valves for the low pressure side in refrigeration and air conditioning systems (e.g. multi-shelf cabinets in supermarkets). Precise temperature or pressure regulation is achieved by modulating the flow of refrigerant after the evaporator using a current or voltage driver. Using an EKC 368 regulator (current driver) and an AKS temperature sensor placed in the medium that is to be regulated, a precision of ±0.5 K can be achieved. The KVS 15 is identical to the ETS 25, except for the control cone.
