?xml>The CPCE is a power regulator for adjusting compressor power to the actual evaporator load. The CPCE is installed into a bypass between the low and high pressure sides of a refrigeration system. It is specially design for guiding hot gas between the evaporator and the thermostatic expansion valve. Injection should be done using a type LG hot gas mixer.
Dimensioning and power
The following data about the refrigeration system is required when selecting a CPCE power regulator:
Refrigerant
Min. intake gas temperature tS
Compressor power PV at min. intake gas temperature
Min. evaporator power Q0
Condensation temperature tk
The regulator power can then be calculated at the compressor power minus the evaporator power at the minimum intake gas temperature and condensation temperature. The LG hot gas mixer is measured after the connection adapters.
The power is a result of a reduction in the intake pressure / the intake gas temperature by DtS = 4K. The specific intake gas temperatures are minimum values, i.e. values after reduction. The specified performance is made up of the hot gas power of the CPCE regulator and the additional power from the thermostatic expansion valve that maintains constant superheating across the evaporator.
Features
- Outstanding control precision
Direct connection to the intake line regulates the passage of hot gas independently of pressure reductions in the evaporator
The LG guarantees a homogenous mixture of liquid and gas refrigerants in the evaporator
Can be used with R 22, R 134a, R 404A, R507, R407C and ...

The LG guarantees a homogenous mixture of liquid and gas refrigerants in the evaporator
Can be used with R 22, R 134a, R 404A, R507, R407C and other fluorinated refrigerants
Introducing hot gas into the evaporator improves the transport of oil to the compressor
Protection against too low evaporating temperatures, i.e. it prevents the evaporator from icing up
LG can be used on its own for mixing hot gas during hot gas defrosting
Control range: 0 to 6 bar
Maximum temperature of medium: 140 °C
Approved operating pressure: 21.5 bar
Maximum design pressure: 28 bar
