?xml>ALCO Thermo® TX7 expansion valves have been developed for the specific requirements of air conditioning applications, cold water units, refrigerated transportation, heat pumps, industrial cooling and other refrigeration applications. Wherever a compact hermetic expansion valve is required, the TX7 with its stable and precise control can be used anywhere within the operating range. The laser-welded valve tops made from stainless steel with a special membrane offer a long service life when used with high-pressures and an external pressure equalisation connection (even in reverse flow direction during operation).
Data for the expansions under other operating conditions are available on request
or starting on page 19 in our component catalogue.

Bi-flow applications
Balanced port structure in normal and reverse flow direction prevents disruptive influences resulting from condensing pressure
Optimal static superheating in both flow directions
Performance of the valve in normal and reverse flow directions corresponding to the power of the heat pump devices in cooling and heating operation
Valve top with 65 mm diameter for low partial low control (20--25%) with stable superheating
Can be used in systems with Digital Scroll, variable screw compressors and frequency-controlled compressors
Sliding superheating in reverse flow direction in order to ensure compressor efficiency in air-cooled water cold water units when operating in heating mode in low ambient conditions
Capillary pipe length of 1.5 m
No CE mark according to Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
Technical data
The rated powers are based on an evaporation temperature of +4 °C dew point and a condensation temperature of +38 °C flash point / +43 °C dew point as well as a fluid supercooling of 1 K at the valve inlet.
