The model XM678D is a microprocessor-controlled cooling system controller suitable for medium and low temperature applications. It can be integrate into a proprietary LAN with up to 8 different areas that can be programmed for stand-alone operation or to operate based on commands from the other areas. XM678D features 6 output relays for controlling the solenoid valve, defrosting function (either
electrical or hot gas), the evaporator fan and the lighting. It also has an additional output, an alarm output and stepper motor valve.
The device also features six inputs for sensors:
for temperature control, control of the final temperature for defrosting, for the display, and the 4th sensor can be used for applications such as a virtual sensor or measuring inlet/outlet air temperatures. The fifth and sixth sensors are used for superheat control. XM678D also features three digital inputs (isolated) for which a full range of parameters can be configured.
The unit also features a HOT KEY connection for easy programming. The optional RS485 serial output (ModBus compatible) allows simple connection to XWEB. Real time clock (RTC) optionally available. The HOT KEY connection can also be used for an X-REP indicator (depending on model).
