Low-noise operation of technical systems is of key importance in areas where people are always present such as apartments and offices, and the air conditioning units are generally installed very close to the user.
In order to meet the specific requirements for comfort without compromising on performance in all operating modes, MTA has developed the HCYGNUS tech reversible heat pumps that use the environmentally friendly refrigerant R410A. The already low noise level is further reduced by the use of electronic fan speed controllers, allowing the fans to spin more slowly when the need to cool is lower.
Seasonal efficiency values are highly important when it comes to climatic comfort - and very much so in heat pump mode. Thanks to the integrated storage tank and frost detection system (FDS) that detects the quantity of ice that builds up on the external coil and only activates defrosting cycles if necessary, energy consumption is drastically reduced.
