The compressors can be equipped with a special noise dampening cover for use in noise-sensitive environments. All Stream models feature CoreSense™ Diagnostics to provide effective protection for the condenser and predictive diagnostic options. This ensures excellent system reliability with low maintenance costs and minimal downtimes.
CoreSense technology allows service technicians to diagnose system problems more quickly or to identify them before they occur, thus keeping the refrigeration system in optimum condition throughout its life.
CopelandTM Stream Digital with CoreSenseTM Diagnostics for fully variable power regulation
The 4 and 6-cylinder compressors of the Stream Digital series offer digital power regulation and are therefore an alternative to using frequency converters. They are the simplest and highest precision form of power regulation and allow the costs associated with power regulation to be reduced. The digital technology works by controlling the active periods of a fast-acting solenoid valve mounted to the cylinder head. The valve actuates a rod to regulate the flow of gas into the intake area of the Stream valve plate. The compressor is operated at a constant speed, thus avoiding problems relating to oil backflow as well as mechanical and electrical loads on the system.
All compressors feature CoreSense technology that allow system problems to be detected more quickly or even before they occur.
