Do not use relay in systems with operating capacitors. The cool off time is approx. 3 minutes. The start-up cycle should therefore not be shorter than this period. Relay is therefore generally suitable for units with capillary tube operation (low starting torque) as the motor starting intervals are longer. For systems using expansion valves and which are fitted with starter capacitors, is is also suitable if the cycle is no shorter than 2 to 3 minutes. Normal over temperature during operation: approx. +50 °C.
