The WVFX and WVS water valves are used in refrigeration systems with water-cooled condensers for regulating the flow volume of cooling water. Using these valves allows the condenser pressure to be modulated so that it remains practically constant during operation. When shutting down the system, the flow of cooling water is automatically stopped.

• Refrigerants: all non-corrosive refrigerants, WVS also allows use of NH₃

• Medium: Fresh water, neutral brine

• Temperature of medium:

  • WVFX 10 to 25: -25 to 130 °C

  • WVFX 32 to 40: -25 to 90 °C

  • WVS: -25 to 90 °C

• Opening pressure differential:

  • WVFX: ±0 to 10 bar

  • WVS 32 to 40: 0.5 to 4 bar (1-10 bar with stronger spring)

  • WVS 50 to 100: 0.3 to 4 bar (1-10 bar with stronger spring)
