?xml>The devices in the FCR series are electronic three-phase AC controllers that utilise the principle of phase cutting to control the output voltage to the electrical consumer depending on the input control signal. They control asynchronous electric motors connected to the fans. The voltage supplied is expressed as a percentage of the input voltage.
• Linear relation: In this case, each change to the input signal corresponds proportionally to a constant variation in voltage of the attached electrical consumer. Significant speed variations occur when regulating signal values are very low. These are, however, compensated by minimal variations around the higher value.
• Regulation on MINIMUM (minimum speed): Rotating the MIN trim potentiometer clockwise to the minimum input signal (0 V) increases the minimum output voltage to 40% (160 V with 400 V systems).
• regulation on MAXIMUM (maximum speed): Rotating the MAX trim potentiometer anticlockwise to the maximum input signal (10 V) reduces the maximum output voltage from 100% (400 V with 400 V systems) to 50% (approx. 200 V with 400 V systems).
Response delay: The trim potentiometer (DELAY) allows the controller delay to be adjusted to the same as the control signal.
