This is because its temperature sensor (thermocouple type K) features a measurement head with a spring-loaded thermocouple band that adapts to the surface. This prevents the temperature sensor from tilting, which would lead to falsification of the measurement results.
Another benefit of the temperature sensor (thermocouple type K) is that its spring-loaded thermocouple band very quickly adopts the temperature of the measurement object. This is why the temperature measurement device is highly accurate and has an impressively fast response time.
The testo 905-T2 surface thermometer is also impressive thanks to its wide measurement range from -50 to +350 °C. Measurements up to +500 °C are even possible for short periods (for 1 to 2 minutes). The temperature measurement device is suitable for a wide range of applications, e.g. in heating, sanitary or refrigeration technology. The surface thermometer is especially suitable for temperature measurements on tubes, since the uneven surface of the tubes does not cause any difficulties for its thermocouple sensor.

It is very easy to handle the surface thermometer testo 905-T2: The measurement values can be easily read on the clearly arranged display. The measurement results can also be very clearly seen from different perspectives. This is made possible by the display's swivel joint, which can be used to adjust the display to suit your viewing angle at any time.
If you forget to turn off the surface thermometer after the measurement, the measurement device shall switch off automatically after approx. 10 minutes of inactivity.
