Tandem compressors are the simplest type of parallel compressor system using two compressors
Exceptionally effective performance scaling can be achieved by turning a single compressor on and off. The 4 and 6 cylinders models can also be fitted with power regulators (cylinder shut-off) to allow operation with up to four or six performance levels. Affordable and energy-efficient full and partial load operation is possible using all conventional refrigerants, especially in applications with widely varying loads.
ECOLINE models
This series of tandem compressors use 2-6 cylinder BITZER semi-hermetic compressors, opening a new dimension for simple and compact parallel systems. This is in addition to the usual features of semi-hermetic compressors.

Performance data
All values are based on European norm EN 12900 and 50 Hz operation. The evaporation and condensation temperatures refer to dew point values (saturation conditions).
All data is without fluid super-cooling. Based on EN 12900 this data contains significantly different values compared to data acquired from using a 5 or 8.3 K super-cooler.
