The Carel SPKS ceramic pressure transducers have been developed for use in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
They are mounted directly onto the copper pipes and are therefore especially suitable for application where all connections and joints must be removed in order to reliably ensure there are no gas leaks.
The sensors comply with the European F-Gas requirements (EU Regulation 842/2006) which stipulate that devices installed onto the system by welding do not need to be fully sealed.
Compatible refrigerants: R12, R22, R134A, R404A, R407C, R410A, R502, R507, R744, R1234ze, R1234yf
Not compatible with R717 (ammonia)
Cannot be used with water and glycol!
