The data logger reads up to 10 temperature/current values and sends these in real time to the Smartbox online platform http://bit.ly/SMARTBOX. The website www.Cumulocity.com is the basis of the online platform. This platform is also used by Deutsche Telekom as the foundation of the “Machine-to-Machine Cloud”. Unlike conventional data loggers, the data is not stored on the device. Instead, it is sent directly to the cloud meaning that an SD card is not needed for exporting data. The online portal can be accessed wherever you are via smartphone, tablet or in the office from a PC. The location of your data logger is automatically detected and shown using Google Maps within the data portal. The temperature graphs give you a quick overview of the current status of the system in real time or you can easily download the data as an Excel or PDF file. You are notified via email if critical thresholds are exceeded.
